'So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.’

To me the meaning of this quote is that what goes around comes around. Its kind of like karma but its abit different then that. For example like Nick said to Gatsby that you cant bring the past to future but Gatsby said that he can change it; he tried changing it and he ended up being dead. End of the day Nick was right that past is past you cant bring it to the future. I think its true but it varies a lot on the situation. I did have lots of experience but I would like to keep it confidential.  

As my thought, I think George wife cheated on him with tom because Tom is rich and he can fulfill her dream and getting her a house in west egg. George became sick because he somehow got to know that he was being cheated and needs money to make his wife happy to fulfill her dream, so that she comes back to her. Tom was jealous because of Gatsby and Daisy’s attitude and there freely conversation was making him so missed off that he went to the boiling point and creaked; but didn’t have any ridiculous action 2wards it except yell when he was talking. By seeing this reaction you can tell that cheating is easy but the person who is being cheated gets deeply affected in a way. George attitude was for love and getting her back with any means or motives; in the other hand Tom was ferocious because of jealousy and wealth competition. Tom’s wife Daisy cheats on him because of love passion and because of the extra ordinary past.

My view and aspect of Gatsby has changed because of vulnerability his passion and emotion just someone. I thought he would be a guy who is always damn care and be strong and powerful. By reading this chapter it explained his passion for Daisy for 8 years, which he expressed out like how a teenage kid would react by seeing his long lost love close to him again. He was so happy to see daisy back in his party when tom got her, Gatsby couldn’t roll his eyes over her. This quote shows his sensitivity and his confusion. I have learned that Gatsby is willing to do anything for Daisy after the reunion of them.

“People say that love can be taken away just like that; but love is this thing which is a magnet, it will attract, get them together and never let go”.

I would like to do some creative projects, which is not full of words or anything just creative and something that would interest everyone, so that they can work hard on it. Everything is going well for me and I am getting long with my standard. Reading doesn’t work for me because it is very hard and confusing for me to understand and visualize the picture and the things going on. For some reason no matter how much I try or read it is irrationally complicated; but when I watch movie and concentrate I can get the whole movie in me. I like doing new thing like how we did the group discussion and seeing other people’s blog; to see their perspective. I personally don’t like reading any book except for top gear magazine; I have no option that’s why I read books to achieve a standard grade to get out of high school. I like the flow of this class therefore I highly doubt that I would wanna see or want this class done differently. But I would like to see or get some project for people who are doing poorly or who wants their grade to be higher then what they have at the moment.

I think I did well to continue the discussion; but for some reason I took the discussion more towards the economy and took this discussion abit more personal. I don’t wanna be a hypocrite and say yes but I did as much as I would need to do or expected to do. There is a lot I wanted to say because everyone is saying that happiness is not about money but money is the thing, which you get for your hard work, or anything you want or your needs. No matter what you say at the end; eventually it will come to money. The thing is there is no point of an better topic then American Dream because every because money makes people greedy so no matter what the system will be corrupt more and more as the day passes. Then though people says and I know this as a fact because I experienced that “Money doesn’t buy happiness”, but money buys the luxury of leisure to keep you happy.
